References in these Terms and Conditions to "we", "us" and "William Hunt" are to Savile Row Online Ltd (Unit 10, 97-101 Peregrine Road, Hainault Business Park, Hainault, Essex, IG6 3XH)

References to 'you', 'your' or the 'customer' refers to any individual using our website and subsequently any customers who make a purchase through our website or in our stores. 

ONLINE SHOPPING

Every care has been taken to ensure that the photographic representation, description and specification of each product are accurate. However, while the reproduction of colours is a close representation, a slight variation in the actual goods may occur. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. Before you place an order you should read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information about your order.

By submitting an order to us through our website, you declare that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct, and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. By placing an order you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing details.

Visitors under the age of 18 should not register with this website or submit any information to us.

ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

Non-acceptance of an online order may be a result of one of the following:

  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment

  • The identification of a pricing or product description error

  • Failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions

ONLINE ORDER PROCEDURE

Acceptance of an order placed by you online and the completion of the contract between you and William Hunt will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below.

When an order is placed, we request pre-authorisation for the value of the order from your bank/card issuer to ensure that the funds are available. However, this remains simply a pre-authorisation request until the order is shipped, at which point we actually take payment.

PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

All of our promotional offers in-stores and online are subject to the following terms and conditions.

If multiple items are purchased through a promotional offer and there was a condition attached to the offer (e.g. Buy X to receive Y) and you wish to return one of the items for a refund, resulting in your order no longer falling within the conditions, then the item(s) you wish to keep will be charged at the full original price.

If the remaining items you wish to keep fall within the conditions of the promotional offer, then a refund will only be made for the difference from the price of the garment kept OR all orders placed with promotional offers must be returned in their entirety and in the original packaging in which it was received by you.

On occasion, we may offer free UK delivery on orders purchased online.

SALE ITEMS

Any items that are on sale are specifically marked as so on our website. Therefore, if the item is not marked as reduced, it is not classed as on sale. 

We have the right to refuse requests for returns and/or refunds for non-sale items if the customer's intent is to re-purchase the same item at sale price. This is justified by the fact that the customer was unaware that any sale discounts would be applied to the item at the time of purchase, and by placing the initial order (or purchase in-store) they agree to the price shown and are content to purchase the item at this price. 

We will not tolerate any instance of intimidation, abuse or violence toward members of staff regarding this or any other issue brought forth by the customer. 

Sale items may however be returned if unsuitable and must be in their original condition, in their original packaging with labels still attached. Any failure to do so will result in damaged goods and will lead to a refusal to refund. Specific issues regarding damaged items will be dealt with at the time by a member of our team.

ORDER CANCELLATION

If you are based in the EU, under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 (DSRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you notify us within seven working days of receipt.

We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. We also recommend that you use a secure, trackable means to return your order to us at William Hunt Returns Department, Unit 10, 97-101 Peregrine Road, Hainault Business Park, Hainault, Essex, and that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute. Please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment, as we do not offer a free return service.

All items must be returned unused, in their original condition and from the country that the order was delivered to.

We will refund the full value of your order, excluding shipping costs, within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation provided that the cancelled order is received at our warehouse.

Notice of cancellation within seven working days of receiving the order, as described above.

RETURNS

Unwanted, faulty, and incorrectly supplied goods may be returned for a exchange or refund. Please let us know your intention of returns/exchanges within seven days of receiving your order.  Please return item(s) in their original condition, unused (with their original packaging), with all labels and garment tags still attached within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please ensure you return the goods to us in their original packaging. The goods are second hand without the packaging and we may not be able to exchange them. You can take the goods out of the packaging to try them, but don't throw packaging or tags away and please return them with your goods.

Refunds will be made for the original purchase amount against the original form of tender. Please note that the original shipping fee will be the customer's responsibility.

Any free promotional gift issued with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods.

We will not refund or exchange goods that have been altered in-store or elsewhere.

None of the above terms affect your statutory rights or your rights under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.

We cannot receive any online order returns to our Savile Row, Harrogate or Braintree shop. All online returns must be sent to the above address and will be processed through our online customer care team.

PAYMENT METHODS

We only accept payment for orders in £ sterling.

We accept payment by Paypal, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa and Visa Debit.

If you choose to pay for an item using a credit/debit card with a foreign currency denominated account, the payment will still be taken in £ sterling at the conversion rate applied by the relevant payment scheme at the time of processing your order.

Please note, we cannot guarantee the security of data which you send us by email. Accordingly, please do not send us payment information using email.

Excepting cases of fraudulence or negligence, we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information you provide us when placing an order.

PRICING POLICY

All prices shown on the website are in £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT, where applicable. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.

Although we try to ensure all our prices displayed on our website are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, we may treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.

VAT & IMPORT DUTY

By default, product prices are UK VAT inclusive until you proceed to purchase your order.

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Policies vary from country to country, so you might like to check your local customs office for more information. William Hunt cannot be held accountable for delays in customs clearance or any additional charges incurred.

Any orders that has to be returned back to us due to unpaid tax or duty and any charges that we have to pay to have the items returned back to us will be deducted from the customers refund.

PRIVACY & COMMUNICATIONS

When you place orders online, we collect certain personal and transactional information (eg name, address, email address, credit/debit card details) from you.

To fulfill our obligations to you under these terms and conditions we communicate with you by email and by posting notices on the website. You agree to receive communications from us in this way and that said electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement for our Privacy and Communications notifications to be in writing.

COOKIE POLICY

SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

Getting your order to you in the most efficient way is important to us. We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 days of purchase. Please note that all items are dispatched in unbranded packaging for security purposes.

Our standard UK delivery is charged at £7.95 per order for all orders with a value below £400.00Free Delivery for all orders over £400.00.

International delivery prices will be calculated at checkout depending on which country the delivery is going to. Some of our popular countries delivery charges are: United States of America £60.00, Australia £75.00, Canada £50.00, Ghana £80.00 and Ireland £25.00.

Most of the EU have different delivery prices depending on the zone and prices will be calculated at checkout.

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Policies vary from country to country, so you might like to check your local customs office for more information. William Hunt cannot be held accountable for delays in customs clearance or any additional charges that are incurred.

All orders will require a signature to acknowledge delivery. The signature of the person accepting delivery at the delivery address will be proof that the delivery has been received by you or the person to whom the order is addressed. If no one is available to accept the delivery, you will receive a card to advise that a delivery has been attempted. 

We DO NOT offer next-day or time deliveries to any UK address. No compensation will be given for late deliveries. If however you have not received your order within 7 working days, then please contact us using our 'Contact Us' page.

We will try to deliver all orders received, however if a customer is not at the address, a card will be left and the parcel will be returned back to the depot. It is the customer's responsibility to collect the parcel or arrange for re-delivery. 

We only deliver to registered card addresses or the delivery address stated on the original order. Any changes to address whilst the parcel is in transit will not be accepted. In this instance, the parcel will be returned to us to then be sent out to the new address. 

Please note: A signature is required for all deliveries. 

If you are not in on the first delivery attempt, a card will be left by a courier company, another attempt will be made the following day, unless otherwise advised by the recipient. Following two unsuccessful delivery attempts, further delivery attempts will be chargeable or alternatively, the parcel can be collected from the local courier depot. Details can be found on the card left. 

If a courier is unable to deliver the parcel after several attempts, or it is rejected, it will be immediately returned to us. We will then apply an additional charge of £12.00 to cover the costs incurred in relation to the undelivered parcel. 

Please Note: Deliveries will not be made on Saturdays, Sundays or UK Bank Holidays. 

If a parcel is returned to us as undelivered, we will offer a refund for the items ONLY. Any postal charges will not be refunded. If you require the parcel to be re-sent, then the postal charges will have to be paid by the customer. 

We shall have no liability to you in respect of any delay or failure to deliver a product due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) delay or failure caused by adverse weather, strikes, transport problems, wars or act of god.

We are not liable to pay refund for late delivery if the consignment does not have a complete and accurate address, postcode and telephone number for the customer.

We are not liable to pay refund for late delivery due to delays with the payment of duties and taxes or parcels being seized by authorities, or for delays caused by acts or omissions of customers details or other regulatory agencies.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

William Hunt will refund any item purchased online that you are not completely happy with if you return it to us in its original condition and in the packaging as you received it within 14 days of receipt. 

Unwanted, faulty, and incorrectly supplied goods may be returned for an exchange (where stock is available) or refund. Please let us know your intention of returns/exchanges within seven days of receiving your order.  Please return the item(s) in their original condition, unused (with their original packaging), with all labels and garment tags still attached within 14 days of receiving your order.

We will not refund / exchange items that have been altered in-store or elsewhere.

Please ensure you return the goods to us in their original packaging. All goods are second hand without the packaging and we may not be able to exchange them. You can take the goods out of the packaging to try them, but don't throw packaging or tags away and please return them with your goods.

All items should be returned in the original box you received them in. Suits returned to us crushed and without a protective suit cover cannot be refunded or exchanged. 

Refunds will be made for the original purchase amount against the original form of tender. Please note that the original shipping fee will be the customer's responsibility.

Any free promotional gift issued with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods.

Boxers and briefs can only be returned if unopened in original packaging, unworn and in the same condition as delivered, with all tags attached.

Perfumes may not be returned unless in original sealed wrapping.

We strongly advise to try on leather shoes on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked, uncreased and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes with clearly damaged soles and that are not in a re-saleable condition will not be accepted at our warehouse and will be returned to you.

RETURNS AUTHORISATION

If you are unsatisfied with your online order and would like to exchange or refund your order please visit our Returns Authorisation page and complete the simple form online to request your Returns Authorisation Number. Please allow us 48 hours to respond to your request (excludes weekends and bank holidays).

Please note that Returns Authorisation Numbers will no longer be issued over the phone. 

All returns must be accompanied with a Returns Authorisation Number - failure to do so may result in the delay or non-processing of your refund / exchange.

Please send back your item(s) to the below address enclosing a note with the reason for return stating Returns number, Order number and the Item(s) you wish to return.

We will only accept returned items unworn / un-damaged up to 14 days after purchase in original resalable condition.

Please note that packaging and sending costs of the returned goods are the responsibility of the sender.

Items bought from our stores should be returned to the original store of purchase along with receipt within 21 days of purchase. William Hunt online returns department cannot deal with store returns.
